Gift Shopping

November 27th, 2007 at 10:53 pm

So for the Holidays and secret Santa, you can't go wrong with chocolate!!
So I was surprised Rite-Aid was having a Hershey's Pot of Gold sale, it's usually 9 bucks. But it's a BOGO free deal. (around $4.50 a box now) However.
I don't know if this goes for all Rite-Aid stores but there's the Caramel one that's 2.49. It won't ring up at the registrar so I had to wait to get it cleared.

So in all I got 4 boxes for about 10 dollars.

Coupons

Now that there's a target store close by...
*scrambles for the Target thread*

What I DON'T like about Target is that it's like Walmart. Corporate companies.

There's always Trader Joe's though. I have never been to Trader Joe's but I heard they're even better since it's around good prices with organic food. They seem like a nice place ^^ But American tofu may taste funny. hehe. Americanized version of Asian cuisine is mostly globs of fat...

Also, what I didn't know was that you can get expired coupons scanned at Target. Isn't that abusing coupons though?

Also this place scans coupon barcodes and tells you what the coupon can also be used for other than what it's face is.

Maybe it's old news but I'm a 16 year old with no life.

Oh by the way at Rite-Aid, Ferrero Roche (can't spell) chocolates are 1.99, I don't know about you but I think it's good enough, there might be a bigger sale at Walgreens when Christmas season hits though.

And a lady I met at Rite-Aid was getting those Kleenex for 99 cents, it's the small almost square box one, the lotion or regular kind, not the anti-viral one. It's apparently cheap because she had to get a rain check. I will ask mom about this. As much as I love trees, I cannot sew a hanky.

Halloween Candy was 75% off, I'm done with candy for now. I didn't look at the rebate booklet. For all I know I don't like mail-in rebates. Too much trouble.

Ebay Rawr!

November 6th, 2007 at 12:04 am

My birthday was on Nov 2, but yesterday I had a birthday outing.
We went to see Nightmare before Christmas in 3D, ate for Dim Sum, a chinese bakery, and at the Cheesecake factory.
It was one of my most expensive outings ever!

I'm getting a bit irritated at ebay sellers. When do THEY give you buyer feedback? I have been waiting like almost an eternity...I don't know if he got around to my message but should I not give them feedback until I get mine's?

I'm still new to this ebay thing. And is there a way to verfiy paypal without ever applying to their CC or giving them your bank account number? It's so annoying! My mother won't fork it over. That's why.

Oh! A contest!
And Rite-Aid candy sale 50% on all Halloween candy!!
